Twice Free trial

For anyone getting a second opinion

You want another doctor to look at this before you decide.

Twice gathers your records into one file, summarizes your history in plain language and helps you write down your questions, so you spend the appointment on what you came to ask instead of retelling your story.

Section A · The situation

A second opinion is only as good as what the doctor can see

The new specialist has one appointment to understand months or years of your care.

If the scan report is still at the imaging center, the pathology is in another portal, and the first surgeon’s notes never arrived, they’re working from a referral letter and your memory.

So you spend the appointment retelling your history instead of asking what you came to ask. With Twice, the specialist can see the file, and you can get to your questions.

Section B · How it works

Four steps before the appointment

  1. Open the file

Start the 7-day free trial and choose who the file is for: you, or someone you look after, such as a parent getting a second opinion.

  2. Verify and consent

Confirm your identity and address, choose who can see your file, sign the consent forms and book an intake visit with a clinician. A clinician signs the records request with you.

  3. Gather the records

Triangle requests your records through Carequality and TEFCA, the national networks that connect many hospitals and clinics. Upload what you already have: PDFs, photos of paper records, faxes, and the disc the imaging center gave you. Twice shows what may be missing and helps you request it.

  4. Arrive prepared

Read a plain-language summary of your history, work through your questions in a chat that knows your records, and share your file with the new specialist if you choose.

Section C · In your file

What your file holds

Your history, in plain language

Visit notes, test results and reports assembled into one current history, with a plain-language summary drawn from them. It updates as new records arrive.

A clinician reviews your history

Your membership includes a review of your medical history by a licensed clinician. The second opinion itself comes from the specialist you choose.

No missing report at the appointment

A view of records that may not have arrived yet, such as a scan report from another hospital, with help requesting them.

Your questions, written down

Use the chat to turn worries into specific questions. A second check reviews answers against the evidence before you rely on them.

Labs and medications

Lab results as structured results you can follow over time, and medications listed from your records.

If it’s cancer

Triangle’s advanced cancer guide, research on emerging treatments and clinical trials, and analysis of tumor sequencing reports.

Section D · Illustrative example

One page that tells the new specialist where things stand

This is a made-up example. The person, the doctors and the clinics are invented to show what a prepared file can look like.

Section E · Your own assistant

Bring your file into Claude or ChatGPT

If you already think things through with an AI assistant, connect it to your file. With your permission, it can read your records, labs, medications and the summary of your history, so its answers start from the whole story.

  1. Open your assistant’s settings and find Connectors, MCP or Tools.
  2. Add a new connection and paste the address.
  3. Sign in to Triangle when it asks.
  4. Choose what it can read or change, and which profile to share, then Accept.

Questions you might ask it

  • Using my records, write a one-page history of my back pain for the specialist I’m seeing next week.
  • What reason did the March consult note give for recommending fusion?
  • Which reports do my notes mention that aren’t in my file yet?

Said plainly: once you connect an outside assistant, what it reads is handled under that assistant’s own privacy policy, which Triangle doesn’t control. Connect only assistants you trust. It sees only what you allow, and it can’t change anything at a hospital or clinic.

Disconnect any time in Triangle under Settings → AI service connections, and access stops immediately.

Your assistant can only read what’s in your file. Start the file first.

Section G · Questions

Before you start

What does it cost?

Twice starts with a 7-day free trial. You add a card when you sign up, and if you cancel before day 7 you’re not charged. After the trial it’s $9 a month, and you can cancel any month. Your records stay yours.

The membership covers Triangle requesting your records from hospitals and clinics and keeping them updated as new records arrive, the chat that answers from your own records anytime, a review of your medical history by a licensed clinician, connecting your wearables, and uploading anything else you have.

What does setup ask of me?

You choose who the file is for, confirm your identity and address, choose who can see it, sign the consent forms and schedule an intake visit with a clinician. Then you can upload anything you already have, like the imaging disc or the consult letter.

Does Twice give the second opinion?

No. Twice prepares you for one. Triangle does not diagnose, treat or prescribe, and it won’t tell you which doctor is right. It helps you understand your records and bring clear questions to the specialist you choose.

How do I get my records to the new doctor?

Share your profile with them. You choose who can see it. You can also open your summary and your questions on your phone during the appointment.

Will it reach the hospitals I’ve been to?

Triangle requests your records through Carequality and TEFCA, the national networks that connect many hospitals and clinics. Not every place can be reached that way, so you can upload what you have, and Twice shows what may be missing and helps you request it.

My appointment is soon. How long does it take?

It depends on the hospitals and clinics involved. Records come in as they arrive, and your history updates as they do. Upload what you already have so it’s in your file from the start.

Close the file
